Black and White

Black and White

A Poem by blackbelief

If the world was black and white,
would colours still make a difference?

I could look up at the sky
but every star in the dark,
and every black cloud in the light
would still tell me stories
of how they came to be
and how,

the little flower,
the balloon seller,
and the lonely mountain

were all,
once upon a time,
"One".

If the world was black and white,
would people still feel less,
and see more?

I can't really tell how else people can interpret this other than what was on my mind when I wrote it. I really want to know, though.

To be honest, I'm not sure how I interpret it. I love the flow...and it provokes thought. Even in black and white, the world--and the people in it--have a story to tell. If the world were black and white, would people feel less? I enjoyed this very much.
