Look into you

Look into you

A Poem by Sophie Wind
"

Just the result of a personal life crisis of my friends, a little wondering and 2 hours of boredom

"

It'd be nice to see once in a while

People speaking openly their mind

Wouldn't it be strange to hear

That people know what they feel

What we have instead

is trickery and lies

sometimes undisguised

in a blind hatred

- laughing tears and smiles -

and what justifies

all this misery?

Would it be a shame to hear

that others know how you feel

Would it be a shame to find

out that others know your mind

better than...

yourself?

Author's Note

Note please:
1. English is not my mother tongue
2. The form might be strange... I just got an idea to try to express the volume of how I would read this poem aloud by changing the size of the lines
Enjoy!

Tetszik hogy van ritmusa annak ellenére hogy nem az angol az anyanyelved, meg még az is hogy olyan egyszerűen mond el fontos dolgokat.
