hello 2 who ever reads this poem, just wanted to brag dat I got second place in dat contest! Hahaha yeah so dats it, u can now continue on wiv ur life :D
Wooow! I like it! I mean, I don't fully get the figurative language and meaning yet... or maybe I do. Imma try! xD
Okay, the child is new, fragile, naive, and then the bullies come and step all over him/her. They make his problems worse, and so the kid runs, thinking of why they do bad things, how to stop it, making him go down into a dark abyss where he won't receive help and he can't get out.
TIMESKIP!
And then he's in the looney bin (white walls), suggesting that bullying causes kids to suffer depression and other mentally unwell symptoms. ..."cube of sugar" "sweet and sour" means the sweet reality, or... sweet revenge, which can also be sour! Ah-ha! And so he mentions spying on them as he watches them die. "Roses for the tears" can imply that his suffering might have been appeased by their deaths, and "On your purple cheek" can imply that their bruised faces, crying in shame perhaps, is being topped with those roses of the bullied kid's satisfaction of their situation!
SHAZAM! Analysis, done! I love reading ppl's poetry. Even if I might be wrong. This is an awesome piece. I hope you win the contest. ^ w ^
