Sonata to the MoonA Poem by Hush HushThrough the small window, Into my room, The moon steals in, All sleek and silver, Across the furniture Then into my bed, Caressing my hair, My lips and skin, Like a long lost lover, In who's embrace, I lost myself within, Until the night is over And the day leaves me pondering, On the fact that my heart has grown colder, With each hour I think, How my nightime boy, Doesn't solely belong to me, I feel loneliness pouring from my heart and across my bed, Through the small window next to my desk, Towards this Nameless fool That stole everything from me, and didn't give himself in return 'What done is done'- I whispered towards him, Too bad my small window Was closed, And my words bounced from the glass and back into my cold heart, To let it splinter, To let it crack, Once I felt the pain, It was so hard to stop Those hot tears which sizzled as they fell Warming my hands and healing my soul... Goodnight Il mio amore.
