Forbidden

There's something so appealing about the forbidden

especially forbidden love

love that society says is wrong

love that major religions say is immoral

love for someone that belongs to someone else

There are boundaries that shouldn't be crossed

falling for one that is soul mate to another 

especially soul mate to a friend

This is forbidden

but it is unavoidable

One can't deny the desires of the heart and soul

No matter how hard you try

No matter how wrong it is

Forbidden love is the strongest love

despite the pain it will cause

you must pursue it

it is a compulsion

Sick and twisted to you

But your fight is gone

Like Eve with her apple

Or Pandora with her box

The forbidden beckons

Consequences be damned

You must have it

You will have it

Even at the cost of another

At the cost of your own friend, your family
