Human

It seems others forget I am human

I may be called a dragon

and it may fit my personality

but I am human

I have feelings the same as everyone

I laugh, I cry, I hate, I love

I'm caring and considerate

And I can be mean and hateful

I have a temper

I like to throw things

I've made some good choices

and I've made a lot of mistakes

I am only human, a mortal being

I live with some regrets

I wish I could change some things

I would take back the wrongs I've done

But I can't turn back time

I can only apologize for what I've done

I strive to improve myself

I desire to be loved

I'm fragile and broken

I'm just like you; a human, a mortal

Far from perfect

I seek all that you seek

love and happiness

And I wish for you to truly see me for what I am

Wonderful, Drako. I feel like it has been forever since I have read anything of yours. I simply love your honesty, it is so refreshing to see. You are just a man, living and stumbling like everyone else. Sorry for past mistakes and yet taking each step as it comes along, knowing yourself for all the good and bad. An incredible person in my opinion.:) We all just want to be seen for who we are, just people sharing many of the same dreams. Keep moving forward as always. I loved this.

being human is a trait we commonly overlook, we do not ever realize how incredibly unique we are in the animal kingdom. being a dragon would probably be just as unique, like the humans of the reptile world. Xp great write, very unique.
