Stay or Go

The questions has arisen again

Your misdeeds have come to light

The time has come to make the decision

Stay or go?

In order to tell one lie

you must tell twenty more to cover that lie

so if you're caught in one lie

you make others doubt everything you've ever said

and everything you ever will say

You lied, yet again

and here i stand faced with the decision

stay or go?

the lie was pointless

the lengths you went to in order to cover it up

have not just jeopardized you

you brought another in to support your lies

but like all who lie

you left a trail leading to the truth

and now comes the question

stay or go?

you should always leave compulsive liars alone, they will eventually get tired of being alone, then quit lieing.
the questions and stanzas are filled with true depth and indecisive pros and cons.

Great stuff! I like how you brought the whole truth telling thing in. Liars all get busted in the end- just as you said in the poem.
I like the scenario you create. Being lied to but.... stay or go? I guess though, if you love the person enough you'll work it out.
