Waiting for you

Waiting for you

A Poem by Drako

Miles apart day after day
as i slowly go insane
i hear your voice on the phone
but it doesn't stop the pain
i see you next to never
but still i feel the same

wherever you go, whatever you do
i will be here waiting for you
no matter what it takes
or how my heart breaks
still i'll be here waiting for you

i took for granted all the times we shared
i hear our laughter echo in my mind
as i taste the tears run down my face

i wonder how we can survive
this long distance romance
this distance that seems far greater than what it actually it
but i know how i feel

whatever it takes, i'll remain here
i will be the rock you always wanted and needed.
no matter where we go
i'll be right here waiting for you

I felt that to once.. Now it will begin all over again i fear.

But a very strong poem like taken out of my mind.
Could say it is perfect.

A beautiful poem of a reassuring and tender love that knows no boundaries...
Whatever it takes - regardless of distance - it will last...
Really well done here
