conflicted

There’s only so long I can deny what I feel inside

Just when it seems like I’ve found what I’m looking for

Things change

It seemed I’d chosen a good one this time

But as usual all is not what it seems

I begin to wonder if anyone knows how to be faithful

Or am I cursed to this because of that lingering desire for someone else?

There’s that one person that I just can’t get rid of 

No matter how much I fight

He has my soul

Though I was faithful to the one I’m with now

He wasn’t faithful to me

I find myself questioning my decision

Is this who I should be with 

Or should I be with the one that has my soul but not my heart?
