breathe

breathe

A Poem by bjornne

Like great furnaces that bellow,
My chest rose and fell,
Unaccustomed to the deep steady breathes i took,
I tried to find my bearing in a world i didn't belong to,
The clumsy flesh-bound gears were set into motion,
And existence was imminent,
But the real question still lingered,
Was i form given thought?
Or Thought given form?

I love how the words form and play on one another. They rhyme without rhyming since the rhythm is so clean. Great poem!
