Untitled 1

A Poem by bjornne

Time stopped,
But the rows of corn still rose and fell,
The waves still tugged at the skirt of the shoreline,
Anxious to travel deeper alone,
But then our lips kissed their good-byes,
And time,
As did the colors bashful in our cheeks,
Rushed back into existence,
I never realized walking away was so tough,
With knees this weak
