Random streaks of light!

Random streaks of light!

A Poem by Nayan
"

Snippets of thoughts that come at random times, without much thinking, and dance together in the form of a rhyme, of contemporary subjects and life.

"
[1] Title: Snap of a cat-nap
Description: A blue monitor, a scribbled desk, an empty bottle, a black lappie, a red pen, a costly mobile, and a resting developer!
So much of To-Dos scribbled on the desk!
Why so much emptyness on the monitor's face?
Bottle of Hope drained and down!
Red marker lies, on the black lappie it frowned!
Costly mobile and other tech stuffs moan...
As the tired developer rests, restoring to go on!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[2] Title: Evening time social gathering!
Description:
In the Evening light, when dim goes the sky,
They worked so much, now "Ek break to banta hai bhai"!
People have broken loose from the locked days!
Out in the open, opposite the 'Ananth Ways'!
Thriving on pani-puris, and samosas...
Thus making a mark on IT's atlas!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[3] Title: People over Samosas!
Description: Samosas with tomato sauce with people over the top!
"Samosas with Sause" -
The two said with a pause!
Sodexhos out from the purse,
As the cashier looked with a cause!
On the table they would sit,
And eat the samosas with ease!
As I was to start my evening-time break fast!
I saw images over my samosa, of the people, that were cast!

Author's Note

I have associated pictures with each of these lines. Would upload them soon...

Please excuse me for use of certain Hindi words/phrases here. I had scribbled these for some other cause, and promise to replace them with suitable and rhyming English words/phrases soon.

Some clarifications:
---------------------------
[2]
a) "Ek break to banta hai bhai" -- An Hindi phrase meaning 'There has to be atleast one break' (from the Nestle Kitkat India Ad)
('bhai' is pronounced as 'sky' with the starting 'bh' pronounced as the 'bh' in 'Bhutan')

b) 'Ananth Ways' - 'Ananth' is a multi-storied building in Hyderabad, India. 'Ananth Ways' refer to the road that passes by this building.

c) Samosa(s) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samosa

d) Pani-puri(s) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panipuri

e) IT's atlas - on the world of Information Technology (IT)

[3]
a) Sodexho(s) - Food coupons from Sodexho - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sodexo
