My Other Half

This is a piece of poetry I just kind of put together but it actually does have a good meaning. Hope anybody who reads it likes it.

 

 

 

A wanderer just like me wandering from sea to sea

Searching for the only thing worth searching for

Our paths crossed on that day and our souls were free

I wandered after her and I found myself standing at her door

 

 

We are one, souls entwined, two souls together forever

We are each others half we share our pains and our laughs

Never will we go astray two wanderers here to stay together forever

I looked at everything from the day we met to the now and I couldn't

see how I lived without her my, other half

 

 

I stare in her eyes just so I can feel alive, shes the only one for me

We wander together through life with each other never leaving always loving

We live to love, hoping to die  in the arms of the one we love

The wanderer has found the thing worth searching for "Love" he has found his other half

A really sweet poem expressing genuine love & care.
I can be kinda cynical at times, so this seemed a little soppy & over the top, but maybe that's me.
Also, there's a spelling mistake in the following line:
"We are one, sous entwined, two souls together forever" - You spelt 'souls' "sous"
But really, you writing style is great & the poem was well written, I guess I'm not suited so well for the topic at this time of night lol.
