[close] The candy shop
A Poem by autumnsky

very dark dreary poem

Warning: This story is rated Mature and may contain material unsuitable for those under the age of 18.
She danced all of the way to the candy shop.

The thoughts in her head would not stop.

When she looked through the window it shined in the sun.

There it laid on the shelf, a nice, small and shiny one.

She picked it up and it fit perfectly in her hand.

The way it felt so magically grand.

Then she waited until it got dark.

Went to go play in the park.

There was not another soul to be found.

She quietly laid herself on the ground.

She looked tearfully up into the midnight sky.

She saw the flashes of her life go by.

She smiled and raised her hand without any dread.

She shot the candy right into her head.
