Confrontations of the Self

Confrontations of the Self

A Poem by N. An

Pleasure, one who solely seeks

Trouble's what he only meets

Faith's distortion & vision bleak

False redemption torments relief

Woe! To sinners covering evil

Rugged spirits seeking upheaval

Tis the 'Man's' very worthlessness

Affliction borne in thanklessness

Fear the time when hearts turn cold

Leave temptations, the bitter upshot

Grasp the truth that lives within

Prove your selfless origin...

Seek the faith of disciples

Tread in lucid verity!
