![]() AmbiguityA Poem by elsa![]() “prefiro perder você como estranho do que como amante”![]() dazed in enigmatic hues, titrating attraction, each droplet burns my skin. i scavenge for a fissure amidst the dunes in your eyes, each step closer amplifies our distance. words hang behind my throat, chiming as neglected opportunities sway. bearing desaturating souvenirs, faint redolence of hope oscillates between us. i picture my fingers benignly tracing your hair, like salty winds brushing through as you lay sun-kissed on warm sand. sifting through crowding voices, i savour yours. murals of ambiguity inked onto me, a lover in a stranger blending amongst monotonous frames, a prosaic thread in delicate embroidery; i remain unnoticed. -ells.
