Beautifully painful moments

What a beautiful day,
A lovely day to come and visit you,
The birds are out and singing,
There's no traffic on the roads,
Our favourite songs are playing on the radio,
The sun is out in the sky shining brightly,
There's a gentle breeze in the air,
There's so much to be happy about today,

But when I come to see you,
I'm not sure if you're there,
I can't hear your voice,
I can't see you,
I can't hug you,
I'm not sure if you hear me tell you about all these wonderful things,
Because I'm at your grave

The only thing i hate about this is that I'll never be able to achieve such greatness in my work. The emotion that this captures is so beautiful.

Thank you so much for this review, I have a lot to write about but I have no idea how to get the words out as I've never written poetry or anything before so it is just my thoughts on the page. I've only started writing since 1st of Jan this year as away to try and let these emotions out I'm hoping ill grow in time and gain skills.
