poem #99

A Poem by bishmas

A single drop in an ocean of beauty
That is just your smile
I'd like to read your restless palm
But it might take a while

Come here and sit with me
We don't have to talk
For I know we're both exhausted
From the limitless walk

Your diamond dusted skin
shines a blinding blaze into
my gaze that I would hold
forever if you let me,
and as the wind throws back
your hair so long, it reveals
your slender neck, the neck
that I could never touch,
as well, it showed the ears
you shut to me whenever I am kind,
and I'm afraid your eyes may
do the same and, to me, you will be blind.

About
I finally felt I needed a place to put these poems. They were written on undetermined dates (for the most part) between 2007 and now, ongoing. They might have meant something at the time of writing.. more..
