poem #82A Poem by bishmas
I'd never walked so far
as I had that night when the twelve hundred miles burned imprints on my soles. And I'm glad that I did because then I got to see you with my own true heart, a heart that waves beats on through. But when I told you how devastating your dry gaze was, you turned your head to the window, to look for a response. A response I never received. And I think you were an Angel but I don't know because I've never met one before. 10/2/15 © 2015 bishmas |
