poem #90

poem #90

A Poem by bishmas

Today is yesterday’s unknown

Tomorrow is today unthrown

Be my today

Be my today

For tomorrow I could be gone

August be my love

August be my love

Throw your stones into my heart

And never shall we be apart

Let’s hope that is enough

A downward spiral of discontent

My loving heart was not for rent

So young you act

So young you act

Your promise, now, is bent

And though we go our separate ways

Agree to frame our better days

I’ll want you more

I’ll want you more

And that’s the price it pays

About
I finally felt I needed a place to put these poems. They were written on undetermined dates (for the most part) between 2007 and now, ongoing. They might have meant something at the time of writing.. more..
