Life's Heartbeat

Life's Heartbeat

A Poem by Z.A. B

Resting in the heart,
Life beats to the pulse of time.
Wrapped in transfixed voices,
Imposing backward motion,
The sand dances beneath our toes.
Our innocent eyes touch the heart’s beat,
And trace the lines of light.
Balancing an oasis of secrets,
We find a wilderness of memories.
