Zion

Zion

A Poem by Bipolarbear.979

"
The first rays of sunlight
Break over the Mount of Olives
Casting shadows in Kidron Valley
As they pierce the darkness
At Zion
Place of holiness
And beauty
My sanctuary and refuge
This stronghold of David
Its Daughters just waking
Praising Adonai
For another day
Of existence
With one heart
And one mind
Dwelling together in righteousness
Glory to El Shaddai
His People arise
And markets begin to open
Greetings of Shalom
Penetrate the morning silence
El Roi watches
As His People spread
His love to the world
