Man in the Black Shirt

Man in the Black Shirt

A Poem by Bipolarbear.979
"

To my friend Part of my Psych Ward Poetry

"

He sat, staring, in His Black Shirt

Arms inside His sleeves

As if giving Himself a Hug

Not knowing Me from Adam

He gave Generously

As if the Richest Man in the Ward

Frustrated with the extent of His stay

He seeks Comfort in Groups

We Value You, My Friend

You are etched into this

Poet’s Memory

Forever Remembered for Your Kindness

To a stranger on His first day

The Generous Man in the Black Shirt
