Cerulean Dream

Cerulean Dream

A Chapter by melissa

horizontal... floating...
   lulled by cerulean vastness
       roaring...
bare-skin on hot sand
   white hot
ebony, ivory, caramel skin
let go... just let go...
feel the warm liquid embrace
soft rush as body meets soul
and mind meets cosmos
and all is one...
harmonious...
   seasons pass before your eyes
love, loss, sorrow and laughter
   ...fade...
left behind...
...sensual memory...
scents...
textures...
sounds...
colors...
tastes...
the state of inertia
that starts
when it
happens
that sends us into motion
unable to pull the breaks...
we become inertia...
we become inert
we become powerless
and abandon our morals
our own good senses...
and give in to our senses...
indulging in delectable comfort,
like the comfort
of the warm sea
embracing
bare skin
floating
on the cerulean
waters...
floating between
the freedom of the air above
and the unknown terrors of the deep...
such a fragile embrace
such a fragile place to be
in this fateful fluid ...
what blissful state...
this cerulean dream...
