Turbulence

Turbulence

A Poem by Footprints al carbon

In the dust of human beings,
     sees another tick of time,
     always certain in their goings,
     always starting yet again;

Each step that's taken brings time closer,
     to the vast and empty space,
     every action begets another,
     yielding only what lies ahead;

Today exists in all it senses,
     touch a moment that passes by,
     holding fast as life continues,
     getting closer and gaining ground;

Minds delusion steers each thought,
     in stone the man is reaching out,
     get ye grounded, get ye stable,
     what is just to bring change around;

For what purpose is each heart beating?
     in what body can feel it not?
     what begins at another's beckon,
     now arrives and goes around.

About
I'm a part time poet, usually during waking hours. An idea must be fed and put to bed in harmonic frequency as to the sun moving about the sky. Poetry is exhausting so burn clean my peoples. more..
