Drifting AloneA Poem by Footprints al carbon
Everything in order,
all in its place; Life may be a marathon, but it's still a race! Day after day it's them before us, night after night a sigh and a cuss. Where have we been? We can't quite recall. What time is it? Is it spring or the fall? Day after day there is struggle and strain, night after night a stretch and some pain. Just as the world turns, you're never alone, I'm right here beside you, just drifting alone.
