In the beginning

     which will not exist in the end     when time rolled into today,

     how it began so quickly     no one can begin to say -

An unstable matter

     the collapse of creation     when time rolled into today,

     as not one had planned     no one can begin to say -

On bedrock devoid

     a miracle of relative existence     when time rolled into today,

     where nothing is unique     no one can begin to say -

By the time it's over

     there will be nothing to recall     when time rolled into today,

     why did it exist at all     no one can begin to say -

When time rolled into today.
