Life and Death?

Life and Death?

A Poem by Footprints al carbon
"

Show me how to live. A tribute.

"
There is granite overhead,
There is satin all around,
Fine wood and white marble,
And nary a sound;

Time seems so willing,
To be a partner with dreams,
Building and believing,
The coat with no seams;

A perfect endeavor,
In every shape and form,
With memories collected,
Within matter's great storm;

Where seeing is feeling,
And power is to be,
The grand call of the ages,
Waves forever at sea;

Between floating and sinking,
A destination in mind,
Between drifting and sailing,
There is sight for the blind;

Set out to become one,
Most precious of kind,
Without fear or ambition,
The empowered mind.

About
I'm a part time poet, usually during waking hours. An idea must be fed and put to bed in harmonic frequency as to the sun moving about the sky. Poetry is exhausting so burn clean my peoples. more..
