One Multiplies

One Multiplies

A Poem by Footprints al carbon
"

The loneliest number, until the end.

"
Can one become what it could not be?
Can one proclaim what it could not see?
Can one escape what it could not flee?
Can one begin when it can not agree?

Can one expand with fit and spree?
Can one multiply in any degree?
Can one discover what is wild and free?
Can one offshoot construct the tree?

Can one
     become much more than just a plea;
who begs for something without a fee,
like enduring a stormy ghost at sea,
who makes the waves scatter debris,
and keeps the whole under unity,
every piece away under lock and key,
     where one aims to erode all futility;

One can,
When one is one
                            among many,
When one is one
                            among many, one can!
One can,
When one is one
                            among many,
When one is one
                            among many, one can!
One can,
When one is one
                            among many,
When one is one
                            among many, one can!
One can,
When one is one
                            among many,
When one is one
                            among many, one can!
When many are one among many,
many, can be many among one.

About
I'm a part time poet, usually during waking hours. An idea must be fed and put to bed in harmonic frequency as to the sun moving about the sky. Poetry is exhausting so burn clean my peoples. more..
