Walking the Planks

Walking the Planks

A Poem by Footprints al carbon
"

Wish upon a shooting star!

"
ABOUT FACE
Oh the deep and happy joy,
to learn a skill and then employ,
With my brothers all so near,
and those as fathers will hold me dear,
As we grow in roles or else,
company trade our souls like pelts,
So make me true and take me whole,
a purpose is all of life I'm told,
In all I see today and past,
with fame it's more and sure to last,
When as a star up in the ranks,
my feet are held by sturdy planks.

About
I'm a part time poet, usually during waking hours. An idea must be fed and put to bed in harmonic frequency as to the sun moving about the sky. Poetry is exhausting so burn clean my peoples. more..
