Tell us what she said

Tell us what she said

A Poem by William Teague

What were those magical words she uttered?

She touch so many.
Her light filled their shadows.
everyone stopped what they were doing.
A sense of love came over us all.

Please! Tell us what she said?

Her eyes blessed us with joy.
Her garment flowed with serenity.
Her lips smiled surrender.

Tell us what she said?

Her hands gestured peace.

Tell us what she said?

Her feet were steady with purpose.
Her tone had conviction.
A sweetness rose to the heavens.
A kindness penetrated the earth.

Tell us what she said?

Everyone saw her.
Everyone heard her.
Everyone felt her.

Tell us what she said?

Light emanated from her.
The glow grew more intense.

Tell us what she said?

I will never be the same.

Tell us what she said?

I don't think I can.

Tell us what she said?

You wouldn't understand.

Tell us what she said?

Her glow grew immense and engulfed us all.
It flickered - Then she was gone.

Tell us what she said?

I have.
