forgive me as I use you as my muse tonightA Poem by William Teaguethe blue moon watched as your artwork fell in love with me. i fell for your bottom lip, then into your eyes. enchantress casting spells to encourage my abandonment of my lover making her negotiable now. even kings discard harams, and stumble off thrones for your charms. You’re wicked. would but I, leave all for you. to drink from your succulent mouth, that whispers commands to your hand and brush; stroking vibrant colors of dreams - nightmares, beauty and death. adornments that drape you, are envious. i watch the blue moon. and the moon is not blue; it’s out-of-focus. after all, it wasn’t the moon that inspired.
