I AM

I AM

A Poem by billy R

I am from the plate in the cupboard from the glass to the water

I am from the blue and pink colors of my home

and the warm wood stove

I am from the sunflower in the back yard to the oak tree in the front yard

whose long gone limbs i remember as if they were my own

Im from grandmothers and grandfathers

also from mom and dad

Im from bad habits to good habits and happiness

Im from grandpa's Reynolds storys from the ranch

to the sawmills in prineville oregon

I am from then to present to future

But for now I AM GONE
