COLORS OF THE WIND

COLORS OF THE WIND

A Poem by Bill Grimes Jr.

”if it were a private moment...i would have written it in chalk.....so that when the wind blew.... the colors of the chalk would  blow to the far corners or the rain fell.... the colors of the chalk would seep into the cracks of the earth”

COLORS OF THE WIND

Soul Friends

Borne of deepest spirit

So many joyful moments

No canvas can sufficiently portray

Precious Godly essence

This world so often misconstrues such wonder

Penetrating peace

Our smiles mirror splendid harmony

No words need to be spoken

When in its surreal presence

Mystifying colors

Turn to dust

Then soar to highest heaven

To shower all

Who feel such perfect dedication

Incredible brilliance

Forever etched in vibrant effigy

As such sacred love

Forever…

It shall be…..
