MADMEN

MADMEN

A Poem by Bill Grimes Jr.

Madmen poised as saviors
Perched atop
Atomic obelisks
They pander what we crave
Bewildered
As we bleed
Bombs designed to vanquish
Mass obliteration
Crushing all resistance
Objection
To their sleight of hand
Kill the witness
Bulldoze all intelligence
No mystery here
Simply propaganda
Cocoon comfort
False security
Haunting visions
Flying by
Apathetic deeds
Welcome to the New World Order
