LOVES WEAKNESS

LOVES WEAKNESS

A Poem by Bill Grimes Jr.

Musky scent of day old perfume
Her eyes
A smoky azure
Warm sweet breath
Arousals chime
Ingenious disguise
Chaotic mask revealed
Once I was an arrogant man
Filled with insolence
Now I fume in loneliness
Her memory haunts me so
I can’t recall her stunning face
Only blank façade
Denials mechanism
To cope with sorrows pain
No matter what the reasons
My soul cries for reversion
Lessons learned the hard way
Passions calamity
Impatiently the hours pass
I wait for her in wayward void
Nostalgic tears cascade
Completion stirs my recluse spirit
Focused on loves weakness
