HESITATION

HESITATION

A Poem by Bill Grimes Jr.

Hypnotic eyes
Ablaze
Cerulean brilliance
Haunted past
Withers
Ever slowly
Destiny
Window sill proximity
So murky
Awkward synergy
Raging fire
Desire
Simmers cautiously
Longing just to venerate
Approach felicity
White knuckle angst
Elusive satisfaction
Tranquility
Temptation
Charm of the unknown
Liberate
Vulnerable one
Winds of genesis
Beckon patiently
A journey
Ends
Where it begins
If hesitation
Wins
