FLEETING PREMONITIONA Poem by Bill Grimes Jr.
Vain inquisition
Frantic search
For what I thought I knew
Counterfeit compliance
So easily impressed
By my swollen ego
Absolute uncertainty
Deftly woven lunacy
Arrogant He Dog
Twice
Became the child
As it was written
Sidereal years
Forty nine
Fascinating circle
Magnified
Steep lessons
Painful circumstance
Ripened eyes
Melt away the chaff
Reclusive nerve
Pulsating
Sweet romance
A fleeting premonition
