STRANGE BIRD

STRANGE BIRD

A Poem by Bill Grimes Jr.

STRANGE BIRD

Lonely child
Distorted dream
Fictional engagement
Ripened smile
Piercing eyes
Mystical Elf
Thoughts
Forever lucid
Slicing through dark headwind
Circular
Then square
Transcendental journey
Roads that lead to nowhere
Snippets of redemption
Words
Unnecessary
Flowing
Just the same
Ominous reflection
Youth escapes me now
Rapid vacillation
Slow motion revolution
Hallucinations matter
Meaningful liaisons
Witness deep discomfort
Focus
On solutions
Verity
A strange bird
Realistic point of view
