SOUL NARCOTIC

SOUL NARCOTIC

A Poem by Bill Grimes Jr.

SOUL NARCOTIC

Love while you can
Live life fiercely
Without hesitation
Balanced
Passionate
No regrets
Fleeting starburst
Mortal pain
Higher focus
Rejection
A sorry state of mind
Without substance
Cowardly demon indeed
Peaceful advent
Soul narcotic
Welcome home
My weary friend
