Brown eyesA Poem by Big ol' KahunaJust another poem about the beauty of eyes
Those brown eyes
So deep and mysterious,
Lit by the embers
And licking flames from the fire.
Upon closing them on me in shame,
I am stripped of my clothing,
Left bare in a cold, solitary,
Dark, dank, and torturous room,
Lit only by your eyes; but dark now.
Heavy and still I lay, knocked to the floor
As if all energy and life
Was drained from my body through
The rip in the center of my heart.
Cold and alone life seems meaningless.
Then, as if magically touched
By the keepers of warmth and light,
Your eyes open once again to me,
Allowing me to gaze deeper within,
Beautiful, lovely brown eyes,
I see the light of the fires
Of love and passion glowing inside,
Warmth floods over my nakedness,
Lifting me up and light as a feather,
Lifted by your love and magical brown eyes,
As if the hands of God reached out of them,
Embracing my heart with loving touch,
Lifting me up to you, forever.
