No Boom or Bust

No Boom or Bust

A Poem by bigfootprint
"

Don't want to scare the U-FOs.

"

NASA will construct it soon,

X jet with no sonic boom.

Don't want to scare the U-FOs.

Keep us quick and on our toes.

Spend a ton in startup cost.

Save cents to reduce the loss.

Lazerize the slender nose

To ionize the air flows.

That way we go the distance,

Cutting the air resistance.

Never fear a lack of nerds.

Take a cue from nerdy birds.

They flutter and chirp all day,

Always know just what to say --

No boom when they fly away.

Their tails defy dash of salt.

Hope the X jet easier caught.

Once again, a really neat poem and idea. I love your flow!
"Don't want to scare the U-FOs" and "Never fear a lack of nerds" made me smile.

Humans have been mimicking animals and nature for a long time to advance our technology. To beaver dams, to the way the Darkling beetle collects water on its back. Wouldn't be surprised if NASA envied a bird!
