Terror at the mountain pass

Terror at the mountain pass

A Poem by The Elder Pine

Red tide rising in his eyes
Malice darkens these rainy skies
Blackening the beams of love

Killer on the road
Determined, demonic
Spice upon his breath
A mistress’s scorn to spurn him

Battle rages for revenge
Bloodlust, of the lioness
Won’t stop till her enemy is dead
Her mate’s memory avenged

Time to live-time to die!
Die for love, die for life!
Chivalrous gentleman versus
The young assailant and his
Manipulative mistress
Time to die, (Time to fight) Time do die!

Writing is my savior. It has become my outlet and my release, as well as my greatest passion. I dream of a career as a poet, possibly sprinkling in a few novels along the way. I operate on two levels.. more..
