You didn't answer my questionA Chapter by fanfictionlover45JUSTIN.
I slammed the door behind me as I entered the quiet apartment. I called out for my mother, but I had no answer in return. She's probably at work; where she's always at. Walking back to my room, I threw myself back onto my twin bed, hearing the springs give way from my weight. It's been awhile since I've gotten this bed, I've grown since I was fifteen. I sighed and sat up, already bored out of my mind.
I didn't really have any friends in this town. I moved here when I was ten after my mom divorced my father. It's been hard on me ever since because I don't have any one to talk to about life situations. My mother is never home, so I can't talk to her. This town was filled with mostly adults, making it harder for children or people my age to get along in this s**t of a town.
The face of the girl from the top of the building entered my mind once again. To say she was beautiful was an understatement. She was more. I couldn't describe it. Her large chocolate eyes, which were rimmed with a black lining, were easy to get lost in. Her eyelashes framed them perfectly. Her oval face was, from what I could tell, smooth and blemish-free. She was petite but fit. She had a runner's body, I supposed. When I first saw her step onto that building, it mesmerized me of how she could be so entranced with the city's skyline from the top of their building.
When I heard her name being called from somewhere, I noticed the scared look in her eyes. This made me confused. I needed to know more about this mystery girl. She was perfect in every way it seemed. I couldn't wait to see her again.
Feeling my stomach growl, I stood up and walked towards the small kitchen. There, I saw a note on the silver fridge; it had my name on it. It read; "Justin, I have to work overtime tonight. Please don't be mad, I love you honey. Mom."
I sighed, and threw the letter in the trash. It seemed like she was working overtime...all the time. She was never home when I needed her. I opened the silver door, trying to find something a bit decent to eat. All that was left in there was the leftover Chinese from last week. Ew.
I pulled my wallet out of my back pocket and looked to see if I had any money left. I had a least a couple of dollars and a ten. I smiled; jackpot.
Grabbing my jacket from my room, I ran out the door and made sure it was locked from behind. When I was sure it was, I walked down the thousands of steps in front of the apartment building. As I was walking by one of the apartment doors, I instantly heard shouting. It was a male voice and a girl voice. The girl's voice sounded young.
All of a sudden, the door was slammed open and a disheveled looking girl stormed out, shoving the door shut. She was looking down at her feet, her chest heaving slightly. She then looked up towards me, her eyes growing wide. I must've been standing there, shocked; because that's what I was.
Her eyes were glossy with unshed tears and her hair was flying everywhere in the wind. It was the same girl from earlier on the roof. She was even beautiful when she was a mess. She wiped the tears with the back of her hand, sniffing. "What are you doing out here?" She said; her voice breaking.
"Are you okay?" I asked, stepping closer to her. She backed away, looking down at her feet.
"You didn't answer my question."
I sighed. "I was on my way to get something to eat, but then I heard yelling. "
She cleared her throat, looking down at her feet once again. It made me wonder if she was embarrassed or just shy.
"Oh." Was all she replied with, her eyes were tinted with a pinkish color.
"Are you hungry?" I asked, watching as she looked up at me confused.
"Um-a little." She whispered, running a hand through her mid-waist black hair.
"Would you like to come with me?" I asked, offering her something to eat.
She was hesitant at first, but then she gave me a slight smile. "I'd like that."
I smiled at her, grabbing her hand. "Let's go eat."
