'AJ': Number Two

I hope you had fun at the dance last night. I'm sure you did.

But I think you had more fun on the way there and the way home, talking to Tal and hanging out with him. For you, I'm happy that you could be able to get to know him better. For me, it was one of the hardest nights to get through.

Last year on the way home, Tal and I talked for maybe 15-30 minutes before he fell asleep, and most of the way down he had his mp3 player in. He always has his mp3 player on when we're going to church events, and so I never really get to talk to him. Last night, he stayed awake for you.

Part of me is still jealous that you can make him so happy; that you can get him to talk about things I only wish I could bring up. The other part is telling me just to let go.

Forget it. It's better for him anyway to be with you...at least it seems like it.
