'Tal': Number Five

'Tal': Number Five

A Chapter by Kyari Hasutto

It's kind of funny in retrospect.

Honestly, I knew as much as everyone else did, and assumed what everyone else--including AJ--did. You asked her out, and all of us, going off of what had happened before, assumed you meant boyfriend-girlfriend, contrary what church standards you and I normally follow.

I told L, and when she went home, you and your mom both assumed that I was making false assumptions, and like I said, I knew nothing more than the next person.

In fact, AJ assumed that when you asked her to the dance, you were asking her out, going so far as to change her relationship status.

Tal, this is the world we live in. No longer do we just have "dates" with different people every week. Now you must be committed while still in high school to a long term relationship.

Please, Tal, if that's really what you believe, then why did it not come as a surprise when we thought you had asked her out. If you really think that dating is not going steady, then can you act like it? Cause it certainly seems like you don't.

And as a side note. You get mad at me when I say you don't care, but your actions are showing me that you don't. If you did care, you'd show genuine interest in what I was saying, but you won't.

I'm having problems with this relationship, even we are just friends. It feels rather one sided, but I can't end it, for so many reasons...

The most significant thing about me if that I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (also called Mormons). If you have a problem with that...well, you shouldn't. But it is a b.. more..
