Entry Sixteen: Interpretation

Entry Sixteen: Interpretation

A Chapter by Kyari Hasutto

I finally got up the courage to talk to my mom about what was going on. I had barely started talking when I started crying. Stupid tears.

Anyway, after I finished saying what I needed to say, she tried to give me some help. Here’s what I learned. First, Eric. It may be that it’s not just me that’s the problem. It could be him. He is going through a phase where he is focusing on Jamie, and unknowingly turning away from everyone else. Also, part of it is that because we’re in high school now, having a girl that’s a friend isn’t always easy. It’s partially that we are each focusing more on the opposite gender and it’s…I guess natural to turn away from each other.

Besides this, there’s one other thing I want to write down. My goals for this new year.

I will smile every day

I will make the best of my situations

I will make principles my life center

I will be a better friend

I will pick myself up if I fall down

I will be more optimistic

I will be a better me
