Angel? Or Devil?

Angel? Or Devil?

A Poem by Kyari Hasutto
"

Anyone else agree this sounds a bit like Kyo?

"

On the outside

Harsh
Crude
Uncaring
Unforgiving
A devil.

On the inside

Kind
Sweet
Tender
Loving
Listening
An angel.

He didn't know

Which person he should be

He was both

An angel

And a devil

But then the choice was made for him

He became the devil inside

The inner turmoil is stronger than anything

The angel inside wants to come out

But the devil is forcing him back in

There's still a chance

The angel will break through

Killing the devil with kindness

Changing the man he is on the inside and outside

This guy you're describing sounds dreamy. :D

Sometimes you just gotta admire that demon inside of him... mainly because you gotta let a guy be a guy. :P But judging from the tone, I'd say the narrator was trying to change him herself... I really hope that's not the case; there's only distinct hope and time for those icky boys to grow up and learn.

Demons are immortal as Angels are; it's all about compromise or control. ^^

Anyways, back to the poem and away from my useless insights: This was an interesting piece. It's certainly something I can relate to: Women are crazy and Men are dumb-- that's almost a given (no offence to any guys/girls who come by this). But, yeah, this also seemed to be quite personal; I think I felt the narrator's frustration. Excellent work.
