![]() WatchersA Poem by Bobbie Coelho![]() poem![]() I can tell by the way you are staring at me With bold, impertinent stare That you wish you were somewhere else And only see me from afar I wonder what you think Or do you simply surmise That I’ve had too much to drink? Or perhaps you see a strange old stick Practising a circus trick Oh how I wish I was, but the truth is you see An enormous task such as this would even make St Jude think And he’d probably retire a broken man with A nervous tic and a constant blink I wish you could see yourselves, I really do If your one brain cell could work pretty quick, you might just have a clue I wish you would get yourself a life One which takes you far from here Or else, please ask - don’t stare! © 2012 Bobbie CoelhoReviews
