MARIEA Poem by Bobbie CoelhoA lovley womanYou glided away on a western wind So silently, I didn’t hear your going Even the sun’s reflection is dimmer knowing The biggest diamond within it’s crown Has forever gone That s you Marie, that’s you.,. Some people make a difference Just by their very being That’s you, Marie, that’s you So full of joy and life But death, so jealous, cut you down With his cold and heartless knife I didn’t need to know you well Your dazzling smile warmed any room You were sitting in You were beautiful Inside and out Of that there is no doubt I only found out today But I’m reeling with shock And I’ll miss you more than I can say. I didn’t even say goodbye The world is colder now And diminished by your going
